    A good coupon code is short, upper-case, and says what it does — SAVE20 beats a random string of characters because a shopper can read it off a banner and type it without a copy-paste.     What makes a good promo code?
    Short, upper-case, and readable: it should say what it gives (SAVE20, FREESHIP) and be easy to type from a banner or an email without mistakes. Avoid ambiguous characters like O and 0 — this generator already skips them in its random codes.
